This month, the Association for Women in Science feature Project Exploration’s own Jameela Jafri as their Scientist of the Month. Jameela was nominated by current member of Project Exploration’s Women In Science (WIS) program, Heather King . Jameela was recently awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to travel to Syria to perform a case study of the practices of a female science teacher and its affects on students. As of today, Jameela is on her way to Syria for two years to pursue her conquest for science education.
