Environmental Adventures returned for it’s second season on Monday October 3rd! It’s time to reap the knowledge sown last summer! This time student’s are gathering each day to learn more about how to carry out a proper scientific research project. The first week was spent looking back at our previous season and preparing to move forward. Students learned about the scientific method every researcher from a medical doctor to a business consultant uses to solve problems and answer questions. Students developed their own 1 hour social research projects to learn not only the process but more about their classmates.
“I can’t wait to start experimenting with plants!” said one student, “I never had a garden back home so growing tomatoes in the classroom should be fun!”
Another student wants to research the effect worms have on plant soil. “I heard earthworms are good for plants but I don’t see how!”
