This past Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, Project Exploration received a great event. New York fashion designer, Eileen Fisher, released her new Fall 2010 fashion line for numerous guests in the downtown Nordstrom store. The event, held on the third floor of the Nordstrom store, was to help sponsor Project Exploration’s programs, which the proceeds went to. It was all decked out in white linens and flashing lights. Junior Paleontologist Sendoff 2009
Friday afternoon I received the pleasure of attending the Junior Paleontologist sendoff. This group was a special group because they are the 10th class of JPs. The sendoff was located in the University of Chicago located on the south side of Chicago. Fossil Lab with Bianca
So today I had the pleasure of getting a tour, along with P.E.staff members Mikki Brown and Jameela Jafri, of the Paul Sereno Fossil Lab. Our tour guide was fossil lab intern Bianca. Bianca, along with a young man named Randy, intern at the fossil lab where they clean and prep fossils that Paul Sereno and the different field programs find.
