The Forensic Investigators finally had the chance to investigate a staged crime scene.
The students got to solve a 600 year old case of the missing King Richard III and practice with blood splatter.
On February 28th, representatives from STEM OST networks, the Chicago Office of the Mayor, and a variety of local funding agencies at the Chicago Community Trust met for a review of the findings of the 2012 report, as well as a review of other local networks.
Project Exploration is partnering with U.S. Army, LAB-AIDS, Illinois Institute of Technology, and Ten80 to implement the STEM NASCAR Student Racing Challenge in 10 Chicago Public High Schools and Middle Schools. Ten80 is a project-based learning program that challenges students in and out of schools to optimize the performance of 1:10 scale radio controlled cars.
