Over the
last few months, Project Exploration has
been building a dynamic "Dinosaur Giants
Team." Composed of (to date) 140 highly-interested
Chicago Public High School students, the
Dinosaur Giants Team has been on the front
line of teaching the public about brand
new dinosaur discoveries from Africa at
Project Exploration s free exhibit
at Navy Pier.
In addition to learning
about cutting edge scientific discoveries
and sharing their enthusiasm for paleontology
with the public, students earn 20 community
service hours towards their high school
graduation requirement.
Visitor opinion surveys
have remarked on the success of this Team
and many visitors have cited "the helpful,
friendly, knowledgeable" students as
a "highlight" of their experience
at "Dinosaur Giants."

Its
a big job to be a Dinosaur Giants Team member,
but Chicago Public High School students
are up to the task!
