Chris Sidor

Chris SidorChristian Sidor was born July 4, 1972 in Hartford, Connecticut and spent his whole childhood there. He liked it so much he even stayed on to go to Trinity College.

He doesn't think he has stopped being a kid yet, although he is concerned that getting his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago may change that.

When Chris gets back from the field, he'll be off to Washington D.C. to be a post-doctoral research fellow at the Museum of Natural History in the Smithsonian Institute.

He doesn't really focus on dinosaurs, so Chris is looking forward to spending a few days prospecting for the Permian outcrops for fossil therapsids (mammal-like reptiles), so he can see the rocks where his critters come from.

Although this is Chris' fourth expedition with Paul, it may be his first one in an ankle brace, as he hurt it playing basketball with him."
