Andrew
Gray
On the cold morning of November
22, 1978, Andy was born in New Hampshire.
The next 18 years of his life, however,
were spent “messing around”
in southern Maine.
Since his childhood, he’s been
taken with the isolation of rural
adventure, and like most kids in the
USA, he grew up with a casual interest
in dinosaurs. However, during his
first year in college, a couple of
girls from his dorm who thought Paul
was “hot” lured him to
a campus-wide talk on African dinosaurs.
“The girls skipped out on me,
but I saw the presentation and was
hooked.”
Andy’s been working with Paul
as a fossil preparator, a field hand,
and a Teacher's Assistant since 1999,
from Chicago to Wyoming, South Dakota,
Inner Mongolia, and now Africa. He
can’t wait to see the Sahara
Desert and meet more people on a continent
that he’s never seen.
