Didier
Dutheil
Didier was born in Paris and grew
up on his grandfather and mother’s
farm in the center of France. As a
child, he enjoyed turning over rocks
to discover the life underneath. Before
he moved to Paris at the age of eight,
his grandfather and mother gave him
a cow named Margueritte as a present.
Now he likes philosophy and speaking
with people to exchange ideas about
life. He is currently studying for
his Ph.D. at the Paris Museum of Natural
History, and also writes and produces
documentaries. He is committed with
Paul in a program to conserve and
protect fossil vertebrates in Niger.
Previously, Didier has traveled with
Paul to Niger three times, and also
to Brazil in 1996, Morocco in 1995,
and India in 2001. He is looking forward
to learning about the paleoenvironment
of the dinosaurs of Niger, and also
to looking for things that are different
from dinosaurs.
