The Team

Ronan Allain
Ronan was born on March 15, 1974, in Paris, France, and grew up in the suburbs of Paris in Meudon with his parents and sister. As a kid, his favorite past-times were playing the guitar, Scrabble, and role-playing games, and also reading, swimming, and archeology.

Later, he studied Earth Sciences at Pierre and Marie Curie University in Paris. After getting his Master’s Degree, he spent much time digging up dinosaurs and doing field work in French Laos and Morocco.

His friendship with Didier was what helped him to become an expedition member: “As a friend (at least I hope so) of the veteran expedition member Didier Dutheil, Paul invited me to join the Dinosaur Expedition 2003.”

Right now, he’s looking forward to getting in the field, searching for carnivorous dinosaurs, experiencing the heat, and improving his English.
