In all our work, we emphasize the need for greater access to technology for students, teachers, and families. Early in Project Exploration ’s development, we created a high-quality website as an efficient, cost-effective mode of communication.

The goals for our website include:

• Reaching a broad and diverse population through educational and interactive science activities
• Enabling a diverse public to personally experience adventure and scientific discovery
• Fostering the development of technology skills by teachers and students
• Creating a model for applying technology in teaching and learning

The Project Exploration website provides a window onto science in action with online expeditions and other special features – as well as a virtual space for student work, resources for teachers, and an image gallery of expeditions and fossil discoveries.
