• Tell your friends and parents about biodiversity and conservation
• Be wise in how you use resources
• Be wise in how you vote
• Support international organizations such as the Wildlife Conservation Society or the World Wildlife Fund that work on conservation issues around the world
• Get involved in local chapters of conservation organizations such as the Sierra Club
• Let your parents and friends encourage lawmakers to seek funding for infrastructure and conservation in developing countries.

Encouraging politicians to be interested in and care about conservation issues can lead to great things. Just recently, as part of France’s plan for debt relief to very poor countries, an agreement was made between France and Cameroon that approximately 25 million dollars will be invested in protecting and managing Cameroon’s forests.
