Project Exploration is proud to present the Discover Your Summer 2007 Resource Guide—a guide to local and national summer science opportunities for middle and high school students. At Project Exploration, we believe that the summer months provide students with more than just a break from school—they provide them with an opportunity to be a part of science enrichment programs that will broaden horizons and help prepare them for their future.

Summer science opportunities abound!  Students can get paid to do research, work in a lab, conduct field work in the mountains, or complete their service learning hours! Whatever their interests may be, this guide is filled with more than 60 science opportunities for students to participate in this summer.

Filled with detailed descriptions of numerous science opportunities, information on how to apply to each program, resources for filling out applications, and tips on how to be fully prepared for an interview, this guide will aid students in making this summer their best one yet.

We hope that all students will take advantage of this guide, share it with their family and friends, and make science a fun and exciting part of their summer today!
